R.I.P Mums Laptop!

Bad news everyone.

Mums faithful laptop has gone and died, the sellotape holding it together decided to give way!

Mum should get a new one as soon as she can but in the mean time she is struggling to get round your blogs because her mobile is really rubbish on the internet.

Mum says my big fat head didn't help!

But don't worry we will catch up on all your adventures soon!

So 7 things about us......

1. Why Labradoodles? Well Mum had allergies for a long long time, so she had to get something hypo-allergenic. But over the 4 years we have had Dante she has built up a resistance to allergies so now shes free to get any doggie she wants!
2. Daisy-Boo is the boss of the boys, but Dante is the one to tell Sampson off if he doesn't do what he is told!
3. They eat the BARF raw diet, well Dante did, before he was put on his diet (which he is still on and hates it he would like to add!)
4. We have to trim Daisy-Boos face constantly so she can see!
5. Sampson was the only Harlequin boy of his litter.
6. People often mistake Dante for a Flat Coated Retriever ( we can see the resemblance too!)
7. We all had a bath today- we didn't like it one bit!

Our Big Bunny Brother

Hello again everyone!

We thought we would share some pictures from this summer when our big bunny brother ( we got the idea of a bunny related blog from  Ludo's Blog) who unfortunately passed away in his sleep a few months ago, so it would be a nice reminder for him too.
His was a rescue bunny (Mum is bunny mad, she has had rabbits even before dogs, she even had 7 rescue buns at one point!) and his name was affectionately 'Lump', because he was huge, well as bunnies go. He was a Continental Giant x Papillon, but to us he was just a very big bun!
So here me, on my first meeting with Lump, I was only 8 weeks old and he seemed very big and scary to me!

Are we related Mr Rabbit?......are you a harlequin too?

Mum....this dog seems kinda different to me....

R.I.P Lump, we will see you at the bridge!

I was a very good boy upon meeting the big bun, Daisy-Boo showed me how to behave. Dante on the other hand was banned around the rabbits, we could not condition him to them no matter how hard Mum  tried, so she thought it was  better to be safe than sorry! I thought he was a weird dog at first and tried to make him play....but he wasn't bothered and in the end I just sat in the sunshine watching him eat grass. ( I tried it, it wasn't that nice)

These pictures are making us crave Summer, we are all bored of the cold dark nights now!

What a weekend!

 Hello Everyone...

Well, you will never guess what!?

The weather here.....yes here in the Lake District has actually been...nice.
Mum says it feels like it has been raining constantly since December (which at times it really feels like it has!) and for the past few days the sunshine has been out, constantly. So naturally mum was a bit too snap happy with her camera!
We got up to so many fun things the past few days I decided it was best just to summarise (warning,lots of pictures ahead!)...

We ran out of room when we went out in  Grandmas car so Daisy-Boo got demoted to the foot well position (not impressed!)

Sampson found a way to get a drink from the river without getting wet....well until Dante knocked him in

Dante and Sampson braved the freezing water:.

The water gave Sampson the zoomies....

which carried on....

and on!

Dante crossed the freezing river....

Sampson then told him off for showing him up...

Sampson posed nicely for Mum:

then ruined it immediately















Sampson found a dead bird..which Daisy-Boo wanted,

 and very swiftly stole...

The bird got boring...

We all went down to the sea

Prepared our selves...

and DOVE IN!!

We got some biiiig juicy marrow bones (yum yum yum!)

Daisy-Boo and Sampson sunbathed

Sampson went to the pub

Sampson helped feed the ducks...

...and was concerned about the blatant waste of bread.

Sampson was taken shopping (forcefully against his will he would like to add)

Sampson has nearly grown out of the biggest jacket we can find in the local shops...

Daisy-Boo got bored of all the picture taking.....

         
                                                                       ......Dante was very patient

And we watched the sunset!

I just don't understand Mum!

Look...I have a problem.

This was me a few months ago, look how happy I looked:

But now I don't get it, I used to love this chair, I spent a lot of my first few months asleep on it. But now, no matter how hard I try- all I can get is my butt on it!

Mum just keeps laughing at me, but I really don't understand what's going wrong? Do you all think the chair has shrunk or something? 

I will get to the bottom of this!

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday. Puppy Photos!

Hello everyone.

Mum thought she would share something a bit different for a change, considering we have been having such bad weather we haven't been able to get up to much besides a mad walk in the gales!
So heres some photos from our youth, well Dante and Daisy-boo's anyway, I'm still in mine ;)

First here's Dante...he look a little dumbstruck on these!

Then me at 3 weeks old, it was the first time I met mum , it was love at first sight!

I learnt very quickly that Dante and Daisy-Boo were so much fun to beat up, although they didn't seem very impressed, I still beat them up now, but Daisy- Boo always wins, its not fair! :(

I hope your all settled in to the New Year and your keeping to your resolutions...Mum diet has failed immediately, but Dante is still on his. We are looking forward to all your blogs and stories for 2012.
